Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no additional job gaps in employment greater than 6 months in the past 36 months. If applicant has been laid off or providing child or elder care, the employment gap will be increased to 18 months. Previous work history will not apply to applicants who have been full time students consecutively for the last 36 months. Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 180 days. Summary :   This position   is responsible for   the collection of all biotechnology samples for the genetic gain of pedigree chickens .     Other duties may be assigned.

Must have   valid   driver’s license.      Essential Duties and Responsibilities :   Collect blood samples from Pedigree birds to   monitor   bird health and diseases (25%)   Cleans and sanitizes sampling and blood testing instruments   (15%)   Perform simple math as part of r ecord ing   information according to instructions fo r sampling of pedigree chickens (50%)     Other duties, responsibilities, and activities:    These may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice, such as :   move birds as required to other houses per house schedule; clean and disinfect the equipment and vehicles used in moving birds, supplies, or equipment on the farm; help laundry staff as needed;   properly euthanize weak/ill birds in accordance with company policy;   off-farm shopping for supplies;   may travel to various farms for training and implementation of procedures when studies are being done with duration of 1 week at a time may be expected   (10%)     Biosecurity/Animal Welfare :   The   jobsite   is a   biosecure   environment which   requires showering,   changing clothing and footwear before entering the facility .    Appropriate clothing and footwear   is   provided by the Company .    No jewe lry may be worn on the   jobsite  except   for   medical    ID   jewelry and body piercings covered by
