Job Description
Digital S/W Engineer Sr Analyst (Hands-on Development Lead) Job Title: Digital S/W Engineer Sr Analyst (Hands-on Development Lead) Job Category: Technology Role Overview The Digital S/W Engineer Sr Analyst (Hands-on Development Lead) is a seasoned professional role combining technical leadership, stakeholder collaboration, and hands-on engineering. In this role, you will act as the primary technical lead, bridging the gap between business requirements and technical execution. You will collaborate closely with Product Owners (POs) to translate requirements into robust technical designs, lead the design and development of API contracts in coordination with dependent teams, and actively contribute to coding using Angular and Spring Boot microservices. Additionally, you will leverage AI technologies to drive engineering efficiency, track projects end-to-end from the requirement phase through post-production support, and maintain the flexibility to support non-IST working hours as required by global project needs. This role applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and workflows. It requires an in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function, as well as coordination and contribution to the objectives of the function and overall business. You will evaluate moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. You will regularly assume informal/formal leadership roles within teams, including coaching and training new recruits, and influencing strategic decisions through advice, counsel, and facilitation.
Key Responsibilities

API Contract Design: Lead the design, definition, and development of robust, secure, and scalable API contracts, collaborating with upstream, downstream, and dependent teams to ensure seamless integration. End-to-End Project Ownership: Track and manage deliverables across the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from initial requirement gathering and design through development, testing, deployment, and post-production support. Operational Flexibility: Maintain flexibility to align with and work during non-IST working hours as dictated by project timelines, global team collaboration, and release schedules. Vendor & Partner Management: Partner with industry vendors that provide technology or user experience design components that support our Digital architecture. Work with vendors on implementation plans and roadmaps, identifying partnership opportunities to increase development velocity and learnings. Hands-on Engineering & Delivery Hands-on Full-Stack Development: Actively contribute to hands-on coding, debugging, and implementation using Angular for frontend interfaces and Spring Boot microservices for backend services, adapting dynamically to project needs. AI-Driven Efficiency: Leverage generative AI tools and modern engineering practices to optimize development workflows, accelerate coding velocity, and drive overall operational efficiency. Technical Problem Solving: Troubleshoot complex coding, application performance, and design challenges. Research root causes of development and performance concerns and drive the resolution of defects. System Architecture & Modeling: Apply a deep understanding of technical requirements, information modeling, data structures, and algorithms to build, maintain, and operate systems through all phases of their lifecycle.
