Job Overview
The Quality Analyst ensures the Quality of the new product during development and maintains it in the sustaining stage. Manage Parts/Product Qualification to meet quality standards and Customer requirements. Job Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Quality Inspection Plan – Creation of QIP as the main reference of Product Inspection, comprises Measurement, Inspection & Tests Control Plan – Creation of Control Plan as a general reference for Manufacturing and Quality Control Process Comprehensive Tool Approval Report(CTAR) – Reviewing CTAR requirements prior to the Trial activities and providing actual FAI/CPK data for the CTAR package New Product Quality Safe-Launch – Ensuring that each document of each process is created before transition to the Sustaining stage COPQ Reduction & Yield Improvement during the Qualification stage – Identifying Scrap Contributors, Mitigation activities to reduce the defect/ increase the Yield with NPI Cross-Functional team 8D / FACA Generation – Generating FACA report through an 8D type approach for failure mode/ defects from Trial/Qualification activities First Article Inspection and Approval - Prepares necessary documents for FAI activity. Conducts validation through review and approval of FAI Reports, and prepares and submits the FAI Report/ Data Package for Customers Process Capability Study - Conducts validation through review and approval of CPK Reports, and prepares and submits the CPK Report/ Data Package for Customers Failure Analysis & Reliability Testing – Conducting FA Tests for defective products and identifying Product Reliability Test requirements Oversee Measuring Instrument Set-up & Programming – Leading the FAI Team for Measuring Equipment Set-up and Measurement Programming Measurement Fixture/Jigs – Preparation/purchase and safekeeping of Fixtures to be used in measurement
Qualifications: Education
Degree Holder and Graduate of an Engineering course in the field of Electrical/Electronics, Mechanical, Manufacturing, and Industrial
Certifications / Licenses
Certification of Training for Quality Tools, Control Plan, PFMEA, SPC, MSA, and APQP Certification as Quality Auditor Certification of GD&T Training or Measuring Equipment
