Internship Location This internship is located at the Steel Dynamics Strcutural & Rail Division located in Columbia City, IN. This internship will take place in Summer 2027.

Responsibilities What Are My Responsibilities as a Finance Intern at Steel Dynamics?

Assist with financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting to support business decision-making. Prepare and update spreadsheets, presentations, and reports using Microsoft Office applications. Support the finance team in managing budgets, expense tracking, and variance analysis. Conduct research and gather financial data to provide insights on company performance, industry trends, and competitors. Collaborate with team members, managers, and other departments to complete finance-related projects. Participate in meetings with internal teams, clients, or vendors as needed to support ongoing initiatives. Ensure accuracy and timeliness when completing assigned tasks and meeting deadlines. Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to contribute to daily financial operations.

Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Minimum GPA of 3.0 or above. Strong professional verbal and written communication skills.
