Ready to Power a Smarter World with us? Industrial Engineer I – Facilities & Real Estate supports planning, design, optimization, and continuous improvement of company facilities. The role is responsible for space planning, seating capacity analysis, AutoCAD drawing management, workplace layouts, furniture planning, contractor coordination, facility readiness, and execution of small facility improvement projects.
Major Responsibilities
Maintain accurate AutoCAD drawings and facility layouts. Analyze seating capacity and optimize workplace utilization. Develop office, engineering, and manufacturing layouts. Coordinate employee moves, furniture installations, and workspace reconfigurations. Manage small facility renovation and capital projects. Coordinate contractors, architects, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Review architectural drawings and apply basic construction knowledge. Support new facility startups and facility readiness activities. Maintain occupancy, space planning, and project documentation. Assist with project budgets, schedules, and capital planning. Drive continuous improvement in workplace efficiency and standards Performs other duties as assigned Minimum Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Facilities Management, Construction Management, Architectural Engineering, or related discipline. 1 year of experience in facilities planning, AutoCAD, construction coordination, or project management Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: Facility planning, space utilization, and workplace design principles. AutoCAD drafting and facility layout management. Basic commercial construction methods and interpretation of construction drawings. Project management fundamentals, including budgeting and scheduling. AutoCAD drawing creation and maintenance. Space planning, seating analysis, and workplace optimization. Project coordination involving contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Analytical problem-solving and continuous improvement. Effective communication, organization, and customer service. Ability to develop efficient office, engineering, and manufacturing layouts. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Ability to interpret architectural and construction documents. Ability to coordinate workspace moves, renovations, and facility readiness activities. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and build effective working relationships.
