What You Will Do
The mission of the software team in Huntsville, AL is to provide world class software for our customer’s. We are looking to add software engineers to our development teams for a wide array of products including Battle Management, Command & Control, Communications, Effectors, and Surveillance and Warning systems. Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance required, note only U.S. Citizen can obtain security clearance Participate in collaborative, cross-discipline integrated product teams, employ agile software development techniques and resources to develop, test, and integrate complex software and systems solutions for aerospace and defense applications Assist and participate in the requirements, design, development and testing of real-time embedded software, application software, and tools, to include development of new work products or enhancement of existing applications and systems Work collaboratively with Systems and Integration Test Engineers to analyze, implement and test system What You Will Learn: Agile methodology and the associated tools. Modern DevSecOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery techniques. Test-Driven Multi-Disciplined Capability (TDMC) Product Development methodology. A variety of domains such as battle management, command & control, communications, radar, missile, and/or modeling & simulation Work across engineering disciplines to develop solutions to complex problems in support of defense systems.
Qualifications
You Must Have : Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics or Mathematics or a related (STEM) discipline software development, integration, and/or test using C++, C#, Java or similar software language Strong problem-solving, teamwork and communication skills Desire and ability to learn new technologies and tools Qualifications We Prefer Experience working in Agile environment such as Scrum, Scrum @ Scale, SAFe, Test-Driven Development, DevSecOps Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with time-critical requirements Experience contributing to a team environment for the purpose of developing creative solutions to difficult technical problems Experience with integrated development tools such as Azure, Git, Atlassian Suite, Jenkins, Eclipse, and Ansible Experience working in a continuous integration/continuous development pipeline Knowledge of Red Hat and/or Linux Operating Systems Exposure to Open Systems Architectures and modular design principles What We Offer: Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
