Responsibilities
Highlands Behavioral Health System is an 86 bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in Littleton, CO. Highlands features individual units for adults and seniors, and offers inpatient acute care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. Website: https://highlandsbhs.com The Therapist provides clinical social work services in the outpatient setting in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Highlands Behavioral Health. The Therapist provides group psychotherapy and psychoeducation according to the Outpatient Program schedule. The Therapist will also be responsible for psychosocial assessments, participation in treatment team planning, discharge planning/case management service, crisis intervention and liaison services with referral sources and other departments within the hospital as needed. Qualifications
Requirements: Education - Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical/Counseling Psychology or Social Services related field is required. Experience - Prior experience working with a psychiatric mental health population, preferably in an inpatient or outpatient group setting. Experience working with co-occuring mental health and substance use disorders required.
