Job Purpose & Scope Responsible for assisting with developing, managing, and maintaining the business account relationships for Corporate and Institutional Banking. Essential Job Functions Ensures effective management of the deposit portfolio and provides guidance in the styling/structuring of accounts to ensure compliance with loan documentation, as needed. Provides support to various departments with technical issues involving bank systems, processes and procedures. Reviews proposed loan documentation (credit memos, loan agreements, promissory notes, cash management agreements, etc.) and assists in determining the deposit accounts required within the loan structure and dates future accounts may be needed. Extensive interaction with loan clients and internal department leaders to collect the necessary documentation to establish deposit accounts required by the approved loan structure, distribution and collection of account related documents. Assists clients on more complex account transactions including but not limited to setting up new deposit accounts, maintaining existing accounts, recommending additional products and services when appropriate and researching issues involving both loan and deposit accounts. Assists in developing effective new business relationships for Bank OZK. Promotes, markets, and sells bank services, such as cash management and general deposit products to commercial customers. Accurate and timely processing of daily NSF and reporting to stakeholders as required. Ensures sound banking practices within deposit operations, including the monitoring and securing of negotiable instruments, maintaining adequate records, and maintaining client confidentiality. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge and understanding of financial concepts sufficient to analyze complex financial data. Ability to exercise discretion and judgment in the performance of all essential job functions. Ability to demonstrate effective analytical, logistical, and verbal/written communications skills. Ability to analyze financial data and industry trends/existing economic conditions, interpret results and present findings. Ability to communicate effectively to discuss complicated issues and opportunities with substantial real estate owners and developers. Ability to articulate the strengths, weaknesses, and issues related to a transaction in both written and oral presentations. Ability to multi-task and work well with exacting deadlines. Ability to work under general supervision.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business, or commensurate work experience, required. 3+ years of work experience in banking or other financial institutions required. 3+ years of experience with internal and/or external customer interaction required.
