Infineon Korea is looking forward to working with an experienced and scrupulous engineer specialized in High Power for Industrial applications, under the Emerging High Power team.
Your role
Key responsibilities in your new role Secure design-in / win for industrial power applications such as Grid Power, Renewable Energy Power applications by working with Sales, Marketing and System/Product Application Engineer. Develop closed Loop controlled Application Modeling & Product Modeling to support customer with product selection and application design. Utilize simulation tools to model / analyze power device behavior under extreme operating conditions of customer applications. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and requirements. Work effectively with internal teams, such as engineering, sales, and marketing, to ensure customer satisfaction and business success. Support and deliver successful technical training / seminar with company products and customer application knowledge. Support Infineon product roadmap definition to fit, with strong understanding of key customers application trends and product roadmap. Create technical documentation, applications notes, and training materials. Actively drive technical exchange with key customer at the global level regarding new technical trends and new product requirement, system architecture.
Your profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering. 5+ years of work experience as power electronics design engineer and/or power semiconductor applications engineer in industrial applications. Deep understanding of power electronics systems, power conversion topologies, protection, thermal design, simulation and measurement. Good understanding of power semiconductors including IGBTs, SiC MOSFETs, and gate drivers and PCB Design. Good understanding of magnetic component design of transformer and inductor. Proficient with circuit simulation tools such as PLECS, CAD and SIMetrix or equivalent tools. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with customers. Good English skills to communicate with internal customer. Preferred with MCU Knowledge and programming skills to develop software for high power converter. #WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.
