JOB SUMMARY The primary responsibility of the Team Leader at BTWN is to create an exceptional guest experience by warmly greeting and welcoming guests, escorting them to their seats, and ensuring their comfort throughout their visit. You will manage guest requests and inquiries with professionalism, support the smooth operation of Beverage & Food services, and activate BTWN’s signature programming to deliver vibrant and memorable experiences. This role involves offering curated B&F services with attention to detail, while continuously engaging with guests and team members to foster a dynamic, collaborative, and energetic atmosphere that reflects W Sydney’s bold brand identity. CORE WORK ACTIVITIES The core responsibilities include:
Lead and Inspire: Act as a role model for the team, providing guidance, motivation, and support to ensure exceptional service delivery that reflects W Sydney’s bold and vibrant brand. Operational Excellence: Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service flow, timely execution of food and beverage orders, and adherence to quality standards. Guest Experience: Engage with guests proactively, anticipate their needs, and deliver personalized service that creates memorable dining experiences. Team Development: Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement. Inventory & Stock Management: Monitor stock levels and ensure the outlet is fully equipped with guest amenities, beverages, and supplies to meet operational demands. Cleanliness & Hygiene: Maintain impeccable cleanliness across the restaurant, equipment, and storerooms, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Safety & Compliance: Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and enforce safe work practices to protect team members and guests. Collaboration: Work closely with the wider Beverage & Food team to support events, activations, and cross-outlet initiatives. Problem Solving: Identify and report maintenance concerns promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Brand Representation: Uphold W Hotels’ standards of style, energy, and innovation in every interaction, creating an atmosphere that resonates with the brand’s unique personality.
