About this role
Vice President-Data Product Manager (Entitlements Framework) As an Entitlements Product Manager within the HR Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) at JPMorganChase, you will own the end-to-end strategy, roadmap, and delivery of firmwide data entitlements supporting our strategic workforce analytics dashboards. You will define and operationalize access policies, classify data in alignment with the firm’s information security classification standards, and partner with architecture, engineering, controls, legal, and business stakeholders to enable governed, low-friction access to data across the bank. Your expertise in RBAC, ABAC, policy authoring, and entitlement technologies will help ensure the platform scales securely while effectively managing risk, regulatory, and compliance exposure.
Job responsibilities
Develop and champion a cohesive product strategy and roadmap for firmwide data entitlements to enable analytics initiatives. Assist in defining target-state roles (including within- and ex-HR populations) for HR and employee data elements across access types (e.g., read-only, masked, privileged). Establish and maintain a clear, standardized entitlement taxonomy (e.g., data assets vs. data attributes vs. data concepts) to support consistent access management. Drive stakeholder and end-user engagement through working sessions, demos, and training to ensure adoption of entitlement best practices. Own and manage the product backlog, prioritizing features based on customer demand, risk, control needs, and strategic value. Produce requirements and specification artifacts that translate strategy and the operating model into build-ready deliverables for entitlement system development teams, in close partnership with the data platform product managers. Assist in defining and maintaining the execution plan and multi-phase roadmap for strategic entitlement delivery. Uplift and standardize entitlement-related SOPs, procedures, and frameworks across operations and adjacent data stakeholders to ensure compliance with firmwide standards and corporate function objectives. Define, track, and report key performance metrics (firmwide and LOB-specific), including time to entitle and percentage of access. Collaborate with Legal, Controls, and Privacy to embed governance controls, auditability, and compliance requirements into product releases. Required qualifications, capabilities and skills: 5+ years of product management experience, focusing on entitlements, access control or risk and control frameworks An understanding of entitlement paradigms, including Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC) and policy-driven models Hands-on experience with policy authoring frameworks and entitlement enforcement engines Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with a track record of influencing senior executives and cross-functional teams Familiarity with audit, logging and monitoring tools to demonstrate entitlement compliance and drive continuous improvement Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills: Prior experience in financial services or highly regulated environments Technical understanding of data technologies, data pipelines and data platforms
