What You Will Do
Lead planning, execution, and documentation of system-level integration, Design Verification, and Qualification Testing activities. Prepare comprehensive test plans, procedures, schedules, and resource requirements. Coordinate test execution across multiple onsite labs and customer test facilities, ensuring alignment on configuration, schedule, and readiness. Organize and lead Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs) for major test events. Execute and oversee testing during both the Proof of Design (POD) Design Verification Test (DVT) phase and Proof of Manufacturing (POM) Qualification phase. Collaborate with lab leads, engineering teams, program leadership, and customer counterparts to ensure smooth test operations. Support anomaly investigation, root cause analysis, corrective action closure, and final test reporting. Manage test environment readiness, including hardware, software, instrumentation, and data systems. Limited Domestic and International Travel is needed to support mission execution at RTX facilities, test sites, vendor locations, and customer environments.
Qualifications
You Must Have: Typically requires a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, Math or other related engineering disciplines and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience. Experience with Design Verification Testing (DVT) and Qualification Testing (QT) for complex systems. Experience leading test efforts from planning through report completion. Experience coordinating activities across multiple test labs or distributed test environments. Experience leading teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to drive TRRs, manage technical risks, and maintain disciplined configuration control. Prior experience working with networking architectures or networked system environments. Experience collaborating with Electromagnetic Interference lab leads, Environmental Test Facility, or similar test facilities. Familiarity with DoD or customer test processes and structured verification environments.
