We have immediate openings for Dryside Weekend Millwrights in Grande Prairie Lumber. The successful individual will report to the Dryside Maintenance Team Leader. Expectations for the role involve a combination of preventative and corrective maintenance tasks, technical skill development, and adaptability to business needs. Key responsibilities include: -Preventative/Proactive Maintenance: Ensure equipment runs smoothly and efficiently by performing regular maintenance tasks. -Corrective Repairs: Address and fix equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime. -Technical Training: Participate in training as needed to maintain and improve technical proficiency. -Clean-Up Duties: Maintain a clean and safe work environment. -Support Reliability Improvements: Contribute to improving equipment reliability and Mill efficiency. -Flexibility: Adapt to evolving business needs and priorities. -Apprenticeship: Actively participate in the apprenticeship program for skill development and trade certification.
