You Are You have spent years turning complex engineering problems into solutions that customers can actually use , not just understand in theory. Power integrity, signal integrity, and EMI are not just checkboxes on a spec sheet for you. They are the physics that determines whether a chip works or burns power like a space heater. You have debugged enough simulations and measurements to know when a model is lying to you, and you can explain the fix to a design team in Taiwan at 9am and a sales engineer in California at 9pm the same day. You do not wait for perfect data. You work with what the customer gives you, ask the questions that uncover what they actually need , and build a workflow that solves the real problem, not the one they thought they had. You have probably written Python scripts to automate something tedious, and you definitely know the difference between a demo that impresses and a solution that ships. Working across ANSYS tools comes naturally to you. Maybe you have used them, maybe you have used competing EDA platforms, but either way, you understand how simulation fits into the broader design cycle. At Synopsys, you will work directly with semiconductor and systems companies solving the hardest problems in their workflows, and what you build will determine whether their products make it to market on time.
What You'll Be Doing
Lead technical engagements with semiconductor customers across Taiwan, including onsite meetings, product demonstrations, workflow evaluations, and solution deployments that directly support active sales opportunities Analyze customer design environments and engineering workflows to identify gaps, bottlenecks, and opportunities where ANSYS simulation tools can streamline power integrity, signal integrity, and EMI analysis Build and demonstrate custom simulation workflows using ANSYS tools that solve real customer problems, not generic use cases, tailored to IC design, 3DIC integration, and high-speed digital systems Translate customer technical requirements and pain points into actionable product development requests for engineering teams, ensuring field feedback shapes future releases Deliver hands-on deployment services and training sessions, from introductory overviews to intermediate deep dives, ensuring customers can independently use the tools after you leave Collaborate with sales, product management, and R&D teams to position the full ANSYS portfolio and contribute to internal initiatives that improve presales effectiveness and technical enablement Travel up to 60% across Taiwan and occasionally regionally to support customer success metrics and maintain technical credibility with key accounts The Impact You Will Have Accelerate design cycles for leading semiconductor companies by delivering simulation workflows that catch signal integrity and power integrity issues before they reach silicon Drive software revenue growth by turning complex technical evaluations into successful deployments, proving value in real customer environments rather than controlled demos Shape future ANSYS product capabilities by serving as the voice of the customer, ensuring R&D teams understand what actually matters in Taiwan's IC design and 3DIC markets Build long-term technical credibility with
