And so much more.​      ​Come break through with us.     Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use. Key Responsibilities

•    Support, troubleshoot, document, and maintain IMS/SCADA systems used for automated manufacturing equipment, manual processes, data collection, and manufacturing system integrations.  •    Provide support for SCADA and IMS-related issues, including triage, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, escalation, corrective actions, and follow-up documentation.  •    Maintain accurate technical documentation for SCADA applications, equipment interfaces, tag structures, data flows, system dependencies, troubleshooting procedures, support handoff materials, and known issues.  •    Partner with Plant Engineering and Controls Engineering to define the PLC/controller interface requirements needed for SCADA integration, including required tags, data types, naming conventions, status signals, alarms, equipment states, recipes, part/process identifiers, fault codes, quality data, and handshake logic.  •    Review new equipment and automation projects to ensure equipment controls interfaces are designed to support SCADA visibility, MES connectivity, historian data collection, and future analytics requirements.  •    Work with automation equipment vendors to define, review, test, and document equipment interface specifications before equipment release, installation, and production handoff.  •    Interface automated and manual manufacturing equipment with plant information systems, MES, data historians, databases, and enterprise data platforms.  •    Collaborate with Process Engineering and Manufacturing teams to identify critical process, equipment, quality, and production data that should be collected, contextualized, and made available for operational and analytical use.  •    Provide technical guidance to plant teams on SCADA standards, equipment connectivity, data collection expectations, troubleshooting methods, and support processes.  •    Support commissioning, validation, production startup, and post-launch stabilization of SCADA and IMS applications.  •    Participate in continuous improvement activities to improve system reliability, reduce recurring issues, standardize interfaces, and improve supportability across manufacturing operations.  •    Execute project and support assignments in a team-based environment with limited
