Multifamily Assistant Property Managers are also responsible for building and motivating high performing teams to maximize the performance of the property. 144 Multifamily Units. Required on-site schedule MON-FRI + every other SAT. $28.00 per hour, eligible for benefits and additional earnings.

Job Description

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:     Ensuring the smooth running of our community in a fast-paced environment .     Assist the Property Manager with the overall operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, audits, etc.    Assist the Property Manager with providing superior customer service and communication to our residents and prospects to enhance customer satisfaction and increase renewals, revenue, reputation, and profitability .     Complete lease/renewal paperwork to ensure completion of company standards.    Track and evaluate advertising, and all client traffic.    Assist the team by maintaining and modeling the Cushman & Wakefield mission to be the best national management company.    Assist the Property Manager with the day-to-day operations of entire on-site team, ensuring that all Cushman & Wakefield policies and procedures are being followed.    Maintain effective on-site staff through interviewing, hiring, and coaching team as necessary.    Maintain residents' files in accordance with company standards.    Maintain a positive living environment for community residents through prompt conflict resolution and consistent follow-up.    Manage and maintain all aspects of overall community budget and finances.    Work with leasing staff to ensure that leasing/marketing goals are being met .      COMPETENCIES:      Effective communication and customer service skills.    Computer literate , including Microsoft Office Suite and internet navigation skills.    General office, bookkeeping and sales skills and excellent oral and written communication skills    Determine leasing opportunities of staff and work on goal setting – improving the performance of each staff member.    Supervise day-to-day operations of the team, ensuring that all C&W policies and procedures are being followed.    Work with leasing staff to ensure that leasing/marketing goals are being met .    Be able to manage a team.    Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.      IMPORTANT EDUCATION      Bachelor’s Degree preferred     High School Diploma, GED, Technical or Vocational school required          IMPORTANT EXPERIENCE      3+ years of on-site Multifamily Property Management experience required, including leasing and resident support service/communications. Strong preference for 1+ years Assistant Property Manager level experience, including rent collection / delinquency process ownership. Preference for experience with court and evictions processes. Strong preference for Affordable 40B income based leasing / housing experience exposure. Yardi systems experience required. Strong preference for CRM, and for Yieldstar or other pricing optimization system experience.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Regularly required to travel outside between properties in varying weather conditions.
