Standard Job Description 
 You will be the Supplier Quality Engineering Associate Manager for our team. Our team is responsible for developing and reviewing quality standards, methods, and procedures to ensure high-quality deliveries to customers.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Supplier Quality Engineering Associate Manager, you will lead a team of supplier quality engineers and drive process improvements to prevent issues and ensure customer satisfaction. You will collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to analyze and resolve process issues. Your responsibilities will include: -Reviewing documentation to ensure quality products are delivered -Analyzing quality data to identify root causes and corrective actions -Participating in Material Review Boards and Failure Review Boards -Performing assessments and audits to ensure compliance -Leading a team of supplier quality engineers and interfacing with customers and program personnel -Utilizing lean initiatives to reduce waste and maintain continuous improvement   Manages those who apply quality principles in the areas of: design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation, program performance, reliability, inventory control, and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality for make and/or buy products. Performs technical evaluations including product requirements, specifications, models/designs, drawings and procedures. Collaborates with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and customers on quality related issues to ensure quality standards are in place. Engages in product failure investigations, material review board decisions and corrective/preventive action. Ensures corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and/or are compliant with requirements. Develops strategies and systems designed to improve internal and/or supplier performance and productivity. Evaluates quality systems for deficiency identification and correction. Designs and analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment; conducts product quality tests, performs statistical analysis to assess products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications. Engages in supplier selection process and maintain certification programs. Basic Qualifications 
 Bachelors degree or higher in STEM, or equivalent experience/combined education Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance Quality engineering experience in developing and reviewing quality requirements, standards, procedures, methods, work instructions, and control plans Experience leading cross-functional teams for root cause investigation, corrective action, and preventive action using tools like 8D, 5-Why, Fault Tree, PFD, FMEA, Standard Work, Control Plans, etc Ability to travel up to 25% Desired Skills 
 STEM/Engineering Degree at Bachelors level or higher Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) and / or Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA) Advanced AS9100 Interpretation and application experience Experience working with US Government Department of Defense customers Advanced experience in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance Earned Value Management System Control Account Manager (EVMS CAM) certification Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
