AMD is looking for a specialized software engineer who is passionate about improving the performance of key applications and benchmarks . You will be a member of a core team of incredibly talented industry specialists and will work with the very latest hardware and software technology.       THE PERSON:   The ideal candidate should be passionate about software engineering and possess leadership skills to drive sophisticated issues to resolution. Able to communicate effectively and work optimally with different teams across AMD.

Develop and drive execution of comprehensive , highly effective software for sophisticated new technology and new product introduction projects   Provide quick and robust technical support for key customer projects  Develop the optimization features and validate before releasing them to customers   Contribute to a high-functioning feature team   C ollaborate closely with multiple teams to deliver key planning solutions and the technology to support them   Help contribute to the design and implementation of future architecture for a highly scalable, durable, and innovative system   Work very closely with dev teams and Project Managers to drive results     Skilled in using AI agent tools to assitant testing and analysis work, improve the efficiency of daily work.

Expert knowledge and hands-on experience in C, C++, python. Familiar with AI operations libraries, like flashInfer, tensorRT-LLM, CUTLASS, Aiter(AMD) etc. Used and customized ops and ops fusion from above libraries. Familiar with Triton compiler backend, on top of llir/ASM program with explicit layout, pipeline optimization. Has experience with the implementation of CUDA/Triton/Gluon kernels, has ability to reach at least 50% MFU with compute dense kernel. Solid understanding of roofline performance analysis ability, on top of profiling tools for optimization analysis, for example Nsight, ROCprofiler, etc.   Familiar with AMD CNDA/RDNA SIMD/arch, has experience on kernel development based on AMD platform is a plus.   ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:   Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent     #LI-FL1 Benefits offered are described:  AMD benefits at a glance .   AMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
