Change the world. Love your job. Texas Instruments is seeking a Systems Engineer to join our Analog Power Products organization in Knoxville. In this role, you will leverage your understanding of power systems and end-equipment to define next-generation TI analog power products and shape technical product roadmaps. Systems Engineers at TI sit at the intersection of customer insight, market intelligence, and IC development. You will analyze key applications, identify unmet technical needs, and work closely with design, applications, and marketing teams to translate those needs into winning product definitions. Responsibilities include:
Analyze target applications in automotive, industrial, consumer, and computing markets to identify technology trends and product opportunities Interface with customers and TI business units to gather requirements and define compelling product specifications Develop and maintain product roadmaps based on competitive analysis, customer input, and market trends Assess architectural trade-offs in IC development in collaboration with design teams Evaluate silicon systems - hardware and software - to validate system-level performance against specifications Provide complete documentation for each phase of the product development lifecycle Perform troubleshooting and debugging on system-level issues Collaborate with applications engineers on system design activities to ensure new products fit target customer platforms Collaborate closely with internal functions (e.g: Product/Test Engr and Project Manager) to regularly communicate market requirements and drive timely execution of new product releases. Develop and track progress of NPI strategy to maximize market adoption
