As a QA Automation Engineer at Keysight Technologies, you will be part of a dynamic development team that delivers test automation solutions for advanced network testing products.
Responsibilities
Plan major features by translating Product Management requirements into engineering test documentation Estimate effort accurately and define testing strategies and plans Execute testing for major features, ensuring test case execution, progress tracking, and status reporting Define system test scenarios and contribute to FS/TP reviews and feature documentation Provide input and support in customer support escalations Configure and troubleshoot both KT and non-KT (Keysight Technologies) equipment independently Debug complex issues and apply advanced troubleshooting techniques Suggest and implement enhancements to automation frameworks and processes Develop automated test scripts using scripting languages and automation harnesses Communicate effectively and collaborate with QA, Development, and cross-functional teams Participate in Agile team meetings and propose process improvements Perform root cause analysis and create detailed bug reports with clear reproduction steps and logs Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electronics, or related field. Minimum 2 years of experience in software QA or test automation. Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Shell) and experience with automation frameworks. Solid understanding of software QA practices, SDLC, and source code management tools (e.g., Git). Experience configuring and debugging KT and non-KT equipment independently. Proven ability to work on moderately complex assignments with minimal supervision. Familiarity with networking protocols and systems.
Nice to Have
Qualifications: Experience with Keysight or Ixia products and technologies. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker). Knowledge of compilers, debuggers, and development tools. Experience mentoring or supervising QA engineers. Exposure to Agile development environments. Exposure to AI technologies
