Summary: The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible with developing and maintaining a quality system to assure that all manufactured products meet customer specifications and achieve superior quality and reliability levels. Investigates and evaluated facts and data to provide the plant with feedback on current and new product performance.

Develops and implements a quality production program to ensure conformity of purchased materials and final products to quality standards Oversee the maintenance and continuous improvement of the ISO 9001 system and related quality objectives for the site Responsible for the review and approval of new and revised test procedures and will provide technical support to the manufacturing operations. Recommends procedures for establishing new or revised standards, inspection methods and process controls Establishes and implements cost-effective inspection procedures and techniques consistent with company and customer requirements. Implements quality awareness programs and develops systems to track and report results Develops and maintains written product assurance policies and procedures as required to define and ensure conformance to customer specifications and requirements Monitors inspection and test queues and initiates action to maintain quality objectives. Initiates cross-training and initial training programs for these test functions designed to expand and improve coverage and personnel qualifications Establishes effective lines of communication and feedback with manufacturing general supervisors, quality, and R&D to ensure prompt attention and resolution of conditions that adversely affect
