We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer II to join our dynamic development team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain robust software solutions that will power our cutting-edge Air Traffic Management (ATM) systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable web services, implement containerized architectures, and optimize CI/CD pipelines. Requirements Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.

You Must Have Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in Ireland without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position. Programming Languages: proficient experience with Java, C++, or Python. Containerization: Some experience working on containerized systems and architecture. Development: Experience in performing full-stack web services development. Operations: Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.

We Value Experience working on relational databases. Experience working in Angular (or similar). Experience working on HTTP/REST APIs. Experience with orchestration systems (Kubernetes/Helm charts, Terraform, etc.). Experience with publisher/subscriber frameworks (RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc.). Experience with Python-based web server technologies (Flask, FastAPI). Experience with Java Spring Boot. Experience with the Qt framework. Familiarity with geospatial computation/GIS.
