As a Security Customer Success Manager, you will lead a team of highly skilled Security Cloud Solution Architects (CSAs) who help some of Australia's and New Zealand's largest organisations strengthen cyber resilience, secure AI adoption, modernise security operations, and realise value from their Microsoft investments. This is a leadership role for someone who combines deep cybersecurity knowledge with strong people leadership, customer engagement, and business acumen. You will be responsible for leading a high-performing team, shaping customer strategy, and driving measurable security and business outcomes across a broad portfolio of enterprise customers.
Responsibilities
Drive Customer Success Partner with customer executives, CISOs, security leaders, and technical stakeholders to accelerate security transformation. Help customers adopt and operationalise Microsoft Security solutions including Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Entra, Microsoft Purview, Security Copilot, and emerging AI security capabilities. Ensure successful delivery of customer engagements, adoption plans, and security outcomes. Act as an escalation point for complex customer challenges and critical situations. Deliver Business Impact Lead execution across a portfolio of enterprise and public sector customers. Drive measurable outcomes including security adoption, consumption growth, customer value realisation, and long-term retention. Collaborate closely with sales, engineering, services, support, partners, and customer success teams. Use data and operational insights to continuously improve execution and business results. Shape the Future of Security Help customers build secure AI foundations and modern security operating models. Influence security strategy and technical roadmaps through customer feedback and industry insights. Drive innovation, scale best practices, and contribute to Microsoft's leadership in cybersecurity.
Qualifications
Experience Required Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud, consulting, technical leadership, or customer-facing technology roles. People leadership experience, including coaching and developing technical professionals. Experience engaging senior technical and business stakeholders. Strong understanding of modern security architectures and frameworks. Preferred Experience leading cybersecurity, cloud transformation, or customer success teams. Expertise in one or more areas including Security Operations (SOC), SIEM, XDR, Identity & Access Management, Cloud Security, Zero Trust, Data Security, Governance, Risk & Compliance, or AI Security. Experience working with enterprise and government customers. Microsoft security certifications or equivalent industry certifications. Strong commercial and business management skills.
