Software Development Engineer II, AWS EKS, AWS EKS

Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) is a fully managed service that simplifies running Kubernetes on AWS. We are looking for a Software Development Engineer (SDEII) to join the management plane and insights team responsible for EKS availability and resiliency, AWS service integrations, and cluster insights across the entire fleet. We own the services that generate cluster insights at massive scale, handling millions of events per second across one of the world's largest managed Kubernetes fleets. We also own EKS zonal shift including Kubernetes control plane integration with AWS Application Recovery Controller (ARC). When an Availability Zone goes unhealthy, our services shift traffic to healthy zones automatically with no customer action required.
