This role provides engineering support for service and repair operations for robotics, power tools, and capital equipment with responsibilities for process development, tooling, workflow optimization, continuous improvement, and other activities that improve repair quality, efficiency, and reliability. The position provides technical direction for equipment and tooling design, development, and validation; evaluates materials; prepares specifications, repair procedures, and technician instructions; conducts process studies, investigations, root cause analysis, and problem solving; and develops technical reports and presentations. Assignments are designed to strengthen professional knowledge and capabilities through the application of standard engineering techniques, project management, statistical analysis, data presentation, and technical writing across a range of related service and repair initiatives. Lead engineering projects and cross-functional initiatives that improve service and repair quality, efficiency, cost, and operational performance.
