Job Function: MedTech Sales Job Sub Function: Clinical Sales – Hospital/Hospital Systems (Commission) Job Category: Professional All Job Posting Locations: Mumbai, India Job Description: Lead the Neurovascular business for India & SEA with full country P&L accountability. Drive commercial strategy, operational execution, clinical engagement, and cross functional alignment to grow the portfolio while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety, quality, and compliance. Build and lead a high‑performing India & SEA leadership team and partner with APAC and Global teams to localize and execute launch and lifecycle plans. Core accountabilities Own the India & SEA P&L for Neurovascular: annual planning, forecasting, margin management, and business reviews with APAC leadership. Define and deliver India & SEA go‑to‑market strategy: market segmentation, pricing, channel mix (direct vs distributor), tender approach, and key account plans. Drive commercial execution: meet or exceed revenue, market share and profitability targets across priority segments (public/private hospitals, tertiary centers, Neuro Interventional programs). Lead country team: hire, coach, develop and retain high‑caliber managers (Area managers / CSR’s). Set clear performance targets and accountability. Clinical & KOL engagement: partner with Medical and Clinical Affairs to design and deliver training, proctorships and evidence generation to accelerate adoption. New product introductions: own India & SEA launch planning and execution, local clinical rollout, hospital onboarding, and post‑launch performance. Regulatory & quality oversight: ensure all commercial and clinical activities comply with local regulatory, quality and ethical requirements; work with RA/QA on approvals and vigilance. Commercial operations: optimize demand planning, inventory management, pricing execution and distributor performance with Supply Chain and Operations. Stakeholder management: build trusted relationships with KOLs, hospital leadership, government/payer stakeholders and strategic distributors. Represent the company at conferences, advisory boards and institutional meetings. Market insight & influence: provide timely market intelligence to APAC/Global functions to influence portfolio strategy, investments and R&D priorities. Key performance indicators (KPIs) Revenue vs plan and YoY growth (by product / segment). Market share in targeted neurovascular segments. Gross margin / profitability vs target. New product adoption metrics (Market Share growth, penetration in target centers). Clinical engagement: number and quality of trainings/proctorships and investigator studies. Customer satisfaction / account retention for top accounts. Team performance and retention / leadership bench strength. Compliance audit outcomes and regulatory milestone achievement. Required experience & qualifications 12+ years in medical devices / medtech or closely related healthcare industry with progressive commercial leadership experience. Minimum 7+ years managing teams with direct people leadership responsibility. Demonstrated P&L ownership and track record
