As a Staff Specialist Carbon Accounting and Climate Managementon our Corporate Functions team, you ensure processes run efficiently, you bring clarity, and dependable support to the heart of the company. Are you in? Your role Key responsibilities in your new role Contribute to Infineon's climate strategy by calculating, assessing and analysing the carbon footprint of own operations, suppliers ( upstream ) and Infineon products ( downstream ) Play a key supporting role in developing clear supplier targets for upstream emissions to reduce Infineon's overall carbon footprint Support the development of long-term climate targets and related implementation pathways Prepare, validate and analyse company data to support communication , reporting and strategic decision-making Contribute to sustainability and climate-neutrality projects , including trend analyses , forecasting and scenario development Develop internal guidance for the procurement of green electricity and offsetting solutions , taking into account external and internal requirements such as customer expectations and regulatory developments Coordinate projects , including the preparation of status reports and management presentations Prepare, analyse and quality-check relevant data and content for the sustainability report in accordance with CSRD requirements Provide clear and reliable data inputs for external sustainability-related requests Manage CO2 data from internal and external sources , including EEIO databases , and further develop and maintain database processes from the business side Represent the responsible role for CO2 calculations and ensure comprehensive CO2 reporting Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field , such as environmental engineering , industrial engineering , business informatics , data engineering and analytics , or a comparable discipline At least 3 to 5 years of experience in experience in calculating corporate carbon footprints and product life cycle assessments Experience in supply chain decarbonization and communication Experience in nonfinancial reporting according CSRD is a plus Ability to capture, structure, and process complex interdependencies and data structures Fluent German language skills and very good English language skills #WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.
