About this role
Air Power Solutions Mission Program Manager The Opportunity: Lead day‑to‑day delivery of technical, mission, or analytic workstreams, ensuring quality, timeliness, and alignment to customer expectations and finan cia l and contractual objectives. Provide people leadership through coaching, mentorship, feedback, and fostering a growth‑oriented team culture. Oversee program and contract management elements such as staffing, hours forecasting, deliverable tracking, risk identification, and stakeholder communication. Partner closely with government customers at customer sites, understanding their operational environment and translating mission needs into actionable plans and technical solutions. Contribute to business development by identifying opportunities, shaping ideas, facilitating solutioning workshops, and helping articulate value propositions aligned to customer priorities. You Have: 10+ years of experience supporting Department of War Air Power mission-focused outcomes 10+ years of experience leading people, including mentorship, performance support, work planning, and team development of at least 15 people Experience leading complex, multi‑agency initiatives involving human‑machine teaming, including collaboration with senior‑level DoW, Air Force research organizations, artifi cia l intelligence offices, and intelligence community partners Experience translating operational mission requirements into technical requirements, concepts, architectures, experimentation plans, or capability development activities Ability to communicate complex technical concepts and operational outcomes to senior DoD and IC leadership, enabling data‑driven decision‑making at the executive level Ability to connect mission needs to emerging technologies, including AI Ability to lead efforts with significant autonomy and develop solutions to complex, ambiguous mission problems TS/SCI clearance Bachelor’s degree Nice If You Have: Experience in digital modernization, AI / ML, cyber defense, advanced analytics, or integrated technology solutions Experience with solution architecture and facilitating workshops to design potential technology solutions to drive mission outcomes in Department of War settings Experience with proposal, white paper, and technical demonstrations development Experience with multiple contract types such as FFP or CP and strategies Knowledge of Booz Allen technology offerings Ability to lead enterprise modernization initiatives and develop high‑priority technology proposals that strengthen mission effectiveness and reduce operational risk Possession of excellent strategic and systems-level thinking skills Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; TS / SCI clearance is required.
