The Supply Chain & Transportation Systems Analyst – Level 3 plays a critical role in leading business analysis activities that enable technology solutions and process improvements across McKesson’s healthcare ecosystem. This position is responsible for eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and ensuring solutions align with organizational objectives and stakeholder needs. The role contributes to requirement gathering, impact assessment, and user acceptance testing while coordinating project resources to deliver outcomes on time and within budget. It involves collaborating with business partners, IT teams, and multiple stakeholders to minimize disruption to services and drive successful implementations. The Analyst applies advanced business analysis practices and provides consultative support on initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and customer value. Key Responsibilities : Elicit, analyze , and document business requirements by engaging with business partners and stakeholders to ensure clarity, completeness, and alignment with strategic objectives. Collaborate with IT project teams to translate business priorities into technical specifications, validate feasibility, and identify appropriate solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements. Facilitate requirement gathering and design workshops with user communities, ensuring expectations are clearly communicated to development teams and incorporated into solution design. Assess the impact of proposed solutions and deployments by working with multiple stakeholders to minimize disruption to services and ensure smooth implementation. Coordinate project resources and timelines to ensure deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with budgetary constraints. Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) by defining test scenarios, validating functionality, and ensuring solutions meet business needs before deployment. Develop and maintain comprehensive user documentation, including installation guides, operating procedures, and training materials to support adoption and compliance. Identify opportunities for business-led delivery and process optimization, recommending innovative solutions and promoting adoption of new technologies. Provide consultative support on business-led technology initiatives, influencing decision-making and ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities. Manage and resolve issues during development and implementation, escalating as needed while maintaining visibility to governance processes to ensure minimal impact on project success. Minimum Job Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities) : 4+ years of professional experience as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Transportation Systems Analyst, or similar role. Experience supporting Transportation Management Systems (TMS) such as MercuryGate, Blue Yonder, or similar platforms. Experience gathering, documenting, and managing business and system requirements. Experience leading stakeholder workshops, process mapping sessions, and requirements reviews. Experience supporting user acceptance testing (UAT), defect management, and solution validation.
