Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the Director, Facilities and Production Maintenance role will make an impact: Key responsibilities for this role include: Provide oversight and track GMP adherence of Facilities Engineering and Maintenance Change Controls, CAPAs, SOPs, Incidents, Investigations, Work Instructions, and Job Aids. May also include updates to GMP documentation (e.g.: SOP) as required Ensure Calibrations GMP adherence, Preventive Maintenance Work Order GMP adherence, and corrective Work Order GMP adherence. Develop, implement, and maintain GMP metrics for all Work Orders and other GMP systems for the Maintenance and Facilities Department. Provide oversight to keep the department in an audit-ready state. Act as a coach to help other members of the Facilities and Maintenance Department complete Investigations, CAPAs, and Change Controls in a timely and compliant manner. Develop and approve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as required. Provide ownership of the electronic calibration system. Review and evaluate failed calibrations to determine root cause. Implement measures to reduce future failures based on the root cause. Provide oversight to ensure calibration activities are completed within all quality and compliance requirements. Provide oversight to Preventive Maintenance Work Orders for all pharmaceutical and MPD manufacturing equipment Provide oversight to ensure proper documentation and trending of equipment use and repair. Develop capital justification for replacement of aging equipment. Coordinate the emergency repair of manufacturing equipment. Interface with regulatory agencies and customers. Ensure GMP Work Orders comply with SOPs and support Quality Assurance during Root Cause Analysis. Authorize payment of services by outside contractors including maintenance supplies and maintenance services. Ensure that all operations and procedures are well documented and in compliance by the department. Mentor and coach employees assigned to the department, facilitating, and assisting in their growth. Within the areas of responsibility, understands and complies with all safety, environmental and quality practices and procedures as outlined in organizational/departmental guidelines and SOPs as well as applicable federal, state, and local regulations. The minimum qualifications for this role are: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 10 years of relevant experience in Pharmaceutical Facilities and Production Maintenance. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration. Must possess knowledge of Pharmaceutical Facilities and Maintenance Systems. Must possess knowledge of overall equipment effectiveness measures (OOE), 5S, and TPM methodologies. Working knowledge of CMMS systems. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. The salary range for this position is $112,000.00 - $236,000.00 USD.
