Maintenance Technician

Title: Maintenance Technician Pay Rate: $30.18 to $35.24 Category/ Location: Eighty-Four Box Facility 10 Wilson Road Eighty-Four, PA We currently have an opening for a 2nd and 3rd shift Maintenance Technician at our Eight-Four Container Plant in Eighty-Four, PA. This facility manufactures corrugated packaging products for local and national customers. The position requires the candidate to have a strong knowledge of lubrication, hydraulics, welding, pneumatic, electrical and electronic technologies. The Job You Will Perform: • Practice safe work habits at all times. • Utilize both excellent mechanical skills and knowledge (pneumatics, hydraulics, bearing, power transmission, lubrication) • Must have a basic knowledge of PLCs, A/C, motors and drives, schematics in our continuous process manufacturing environment to achieve machine uptime metrics • Work positively with maintenance and operations teams to troubleshoot and solve problems • Engage in preventative maintenance processes in assigned areas • On-the-job success in safety, attendance and quality of work • Excellent teamwork, cooperation and problem solving skills • Willingness to fully cross-train in other technical areas to enhance capabilities • Willing and able to work flexible shifts and weekends are required • Able to work with computer system for maintenance processes and work orders • Complete all paperwork neatly, correctly, and in accordance with Company guidelines. • Willingly work all necessary hours and shifts. • Help maintain good housekeeping in work areas. • Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping. • Additional duties may be assigned by management. The Skills You Will Bring: • Able to read and follow instructions on factory masters. • Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy. Able to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, measurement, volume and rate. Able to apply concepts of high school math. • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or graphic form.
