Material Planner Supervisor

Are you passionate about supply planning and ensuring operational continuity? Join our Supply Chain team as a Material Planning Supervisor. You’ll be responsible for ensuring material availability to support production schedules, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and managing supplier relationships to guarantee on-time deliveries and business continuity. In this role, you will collaborate closely with procurement, suppliers, plant logistics, schedulers, and cross-functional teams to proactively manage risks, minimize supply disruptions, and drive inventory performance across the business. This a hybrid role based in Querétaro. A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing • Material Requirements Planning: Develop and maintain a 3-month rolling material requirements and inventory plan to support production needs and ensure optimal stock levels. • Supplier Management: Build strong relationships with suppliers to ensure material availability, on-time deliveries, and effective resolution of supply disruptions. • Inventory Optimization: Monitor inventory levels, material consumption, and BOM integrity while identifying opportunities to reduce obsolescence risks and improve inventory performance. • Order and Delivery Management: Oversee daily purchase order execution and delivery tracking to support uninterrupted production operations. • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with procurement, logistics, schedulers, supply planners, and other stakeholders to drive efficient material flow and business results. We’re Looking for Someone With • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field. • 2-3 years of experience in planning, manufacturing, procurement, supply chain, or related areas. • Experience in material planning, inventory management, and supplier coordination. • Experience working with SAP (MM, PP, or related supply chain modules) for material planning, inventory management, and purchase order management. • Advanced Excel skills and the ability to analyze data to support business decisions. • Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal. • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making capabilities with a focus on delivering results. • Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and build strong internal and external partnerships.
