What you'll do
The Legal Solution Consultant (LATAM) partners with the regional field sales team to uncover complex legal workflows, regulatory challenges, and enterprise compliance needs across Latin American markets—with a core emphasis on Mexico. In this role, you will act as a trusted legal and technical advisor, translating intricate contract lifecycle management (CLM), e-signature regulations, and compliance requirements into high-impact digital solutions. Through compelling narrative presentations and tailored product demonstrations, you will showcase how Docusign modernizes the System of Agreement for enterprise clients and government entities across the region. This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the HLA Solution Consulting Director.
Responsibility
Collaborate with LatAm field sales teams to secure net-new business across Enterprise Business Units (EBU) and Commercial Business Units (CBU) Uncover, document, and analyze complex legal frameworks, business processes, and customer technology landscapes across Mexico and Latin America Deliver high-stakes presentations, custom software demonstrations, and legal pitches to key stakeholders, C-level executives, and legal counsel Establish immediate trust using deep knowledge of regional legal compliance, regulatory frameworks (e.g., Mexican commercial/civil law, electronic signature legality), and Docusign’s product architecture Partner with sales, Customer Success, and legal compliance teams to provide a world-class, culturally tailored buying experience Understand value-selling methodologies to demonstrate clear ROI, risk reduction, and operational efficiency through Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) Lead legal and regulatory responses for RFPs, RFIs, SOWs, and custom workflow proposals Job Designation Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation) Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job. What you bring Basic Juris Doctor (JD), LL.B., or Bachelor’s Degree in Law (Licenciatura en Derecho) 8+ years of total professional experience, combining legal practice, legal technology consulting, or enterprise SaaS technical Pre-Sales (Solution Engineering / Solution Consulting) Experience with the legal systems, regulatory compliance, and cultural nuances across Latin America, with a specialized focus on Mexico Native or professional fluency in Spanish and business-fluent English (written and verbal) Portuguese proficiency Experience delivering engaging, high-impact presentations to non-technical, technical, and executive audiences Willingness to travel up to 30% across Mexico and the Latin American region as needed Preferred Active admission to the bar in Mexico or another LATAM jurisdiction Hands-on experience with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), electronic signature laws (e.g., eIDAS equivalents, Mexican Firma Electrónica
