Who you are
As a DevSecOps Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include: Primary technical lead to manage and evolve our IBM Engineeering Lifecycle Management (ELM) instance on-premise hosted locally here at Manassas, VA. Evolving and maintaining existing infrastructure solutions, including DevSecOps tools, Model Based Systems Engineering tools, and Orchestration and Virtualization Frameworks Providing support for infrastructure maintenance outages, ensuring minimal disruption to operations Identifying and implement improvements to existing architecture, system workflows, and team processes Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance architecture, deploy new/upgraded tools, and ensure optimal performance Working independently with minimal direction, exercising latitude in determining technical objectives and approaches to assignments A state-of-the-art working environment Collaboration with industry leaders and top-notch design professionals Opportunities to solve challenging engineering problems A culture that encourages creativity, excellence, and innovation Why Join Us? … Your Health, Your Wealth, Your Life Joining Lockheed Martin means becoming part of a team that's making a significant impact in the field of engineering. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with 9+ years of professional experience, or equivalent experience/combined education. Willing to learn and quickly come up to speed on IBM ELM. Demonstrated experience designing and improving environments. Advanced knowledge of DevOps/DevSecOps processes and tools. Advanced knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment methodologies. Demonstrated experience with Linux Operating Systems, including Ansible Proficiency in a programming language (e.g., Java, C#, C, C++, Python, etc.). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with development, operations, and security teams to articulate security concerns and solutions effectively.
