You will grow both personally and professionally through leading-edge learning platforms and build lasting connections across the organization.   Above all, you’ll   see just how exciting the working world can be.      Here, your career can take off 🚀      The support   you   will   receive   Coaching and mentorship   from actuarial experts and   team members .   Ongoing training   and access to modern tools and learning platforms.   Hands-on project work , with regular feedback and clear   objectives .   Cross-functional collaboration   (Underwriting, Marketing, Risk Management, Finance) to broaden your experience.   Networking opportunities   to support your professional development within the organization.   What you will   accomplish   with us   Deepen your knowledge of the insurance industry and expand your internal network by collaborating with various partners (Underwriting, Marketing, Risk Management, Finance) on analytical and decision-making assignments.   Participate in development projects and share your learnings, methods, results, and recommendations with colleagues and stakeholders—including senior leadership—through summaries and presentations.   Monitor the profitability and competitiveness of insurance portfolios and contribute to preparing the action plan for the coming years.   Assess the impact of   emerging trends (e.g.   geopolitical context, climate change) on frequency, severity, and risk profile   in order to   guide business responses.   Apply actuarial techniques to support adequate reserves,   an appropriate level   of reinsurance, and sufficient capital under various catastrophe scenarios.   Contribute to innovation initiatives (machine learning, customer experience, telematics, climate change) to analyze and improve pricing models in personal and commercial insurance.

What   you   will   bring

Ongoing university studies in one of the following fields: Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Intelligence, or a related discipline.   Interest in IT, technology, and innovation (an asset).   Strong adaptability, teamwork, autonomy, and sense of accountability.   Strong communication   skills (written and verbal).   Analytical   and   synthesizing   skills .   Bilingualism (French and English) :   required   to interact regularly with colleagues across the country.   Must be available   35 hours per week   and able to   come into the office at least two days per week .   The intern must be considered an   actively enrolled student   for the entire duration of the internship.     Your career starts
