Skills and Competencies 5+ years of experience in automation engineering, scripting, or cyber technology environments with strong knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, controls, and secure technology practices Strong expertise in PowerShell scripting to automate processes, improve operational efficiency, and solve complex technical challenges Demonstrated ability to independently lead end-to-end projects from requirements gathering through implementation and support Proven experience building and integrating systems using REST APIs, SCIM, webhooks, and event-driven architectures Hands-on experience with IAM platforms and workflows, including Active Directory, SailPoint, ServiceNow (or similar IGA and ITSM tools); knowledge of access governance, JML lifecycle processes, and workflow documentation is preferred Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins), Git-based version control, automated testing, and DevOps tooling such as Terraform, Helm, Kubernetes, and Docker Experience building dashboards and operational reporting (e.g., Power BI, ServiceNow Performance) to track automation performance, access governance metrics, and operational KPIs Practical experience applying AI/agentic tooling to automate security operations tasks (e.g., ticket triage, anomaly detection, workflow orchestration), with an understanding of associated governance, risk, and ethical considerations in AI adoption Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field Advanced technical certifications preferred, such as CISM, CISSP, SailPoint Certified IdentityNow Engineer, Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator (SC-300), or equivalent certifications in automation, cloud, or identity technologies Responsibilities Lead automation and cybersecurity initiatives by delivering scalable solutions, intelligent workflows, and secure technology integrations. Design, develop, maintain, and support automation solutions using PowerShell and other appropriate technologies, applying cybersecurity best practices to ensure secure, compliant, and scalable outcomes Build, integrate, and support APIs that enable secure and efficient connectivity across identity, ITSM, security, and other enterprise platforms. Lead end-to-end project delivery, including requirements gathering, solution design, implementation, testing, deployment, documentation, and operational support Design and maintain dashboards, reporting, and operational metrics to provide visibility into automation performance, access governance, and service effectiveness for stakeholders and leadership Manage code repositories, deployment pipelines, technical documentation, workflows, and operational procedures using Git-based version control best practices across platforms such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, and GitLab Support identity and access management operations
