What You Will Do
The Configuration Management Analyst is responsible for ensuring our products are under configuration control and delivered on time. The CMDM Organization consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices, and our customers.
Key Responsibilities
Support Configuration Management Processes: Assist in the execution of CM activities, including identification, control, verification, and status accounting for systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements. Assist with Change Implementation: Provide support for the introduction of changes to engineering documents and contribute to the implementation of common processes under the guidance of senior team members. Review and Coordinate Engineering Changes: Help review engineering change data and coordinate updates with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and data control teams. Participate in Configuration Audits: Support configuration audits by gathering data, identifying potential discrepancies, and ensuring alignment with CM plans and contractual obligations. Maintain Product Baselines: Assist in establishing and maintaining product baselines, ensuring accuracy and consistency of data across systems. Collaborate Across Functions: Work closely with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to support configuration and change control activities. Learn and Develop CM Expertise: Engage in on-the-job training to build knowledge of CM processes, tools, and industry standards, contributing to personal and professional growth.
Qualifications
You Must Have Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline obtained by start date Experience with Microsoft Office products (such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Qualifications We Prefer General knowledge and understanding of configuration management principles using configuration management policies, procedures, and tools Experience identifying potential complex problems associated with technical engineering data, regarding configuration management issues, and take corrective action as needed What We Offer Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
