Junior Accountant, Financial Reporting and Insights - Greater Vancouver Offices - January 2027

Your Opportunity Our Greater Vancouver office s (Vancouver and Langley) are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our Financial Reporting and Insights team , starting January or September 2027 , and own the following responsibilities:   Efficiently prepare financial statements for Compilation engagements   Prepare working files for income tax and information returns for a variety of client sizes   Prepare corporate and/or personal tax returns including information returns   Build positive working relationships with clients and effectively respond to request and suggestions   Completion of ongoing accounting analysis and assignments following established procedures   Effectively communicate with team members regarding progress updates and issues on an ongoing basis      How do we define success for your role?    You demonstrate BDO's core values through all aspects of your work: Integrity, Respect & Collaboration   You are able to effectively communicate within your work team both in written and verbal formats   You understand your client’s industry, challenges, and opportunities; clients describe you as positive, professional, and delivering high quality work   You identify , recommend, & are focused on effective service delivery to your clients   You share in an inclusive & engaging work environment that develops, retains & attracts talent   You actively participate in the adoption of digital tools and strategies to drive an innovative workplace   You grow your expertise through learning & professional development.   You are able to work independently       Your experience and education   You have completed or are working toward your undergraduate degree .
