About this role
Leidos is seeking a Joint Theater Distribution Center (JTDC) Maintenance and Equipment Readiness Manager, Indo-Pacific Logistics Integration in Santa Rita, Guam . This position leads Maintenance and Equipment Readiness activities supporting vehicles, material-handling equipment, ground-support equipment, fuel equipment, and small engines required to operate the JTDC. This challenging and rewarding position involves supervising maintenance and equipment-readiness activities for JTDC vehicles, material-handling equipment, ground-support equipment, heavy equipment, fuel-distribution equipment, and associated assets.
Primary Responsibilities
Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities. Maintain operational availability of material-handling, ground-support, transportation, and heavy equipment. Establish preventive-maintenance schedules and repair priorities. Coordinate troubleshooting, fault isolation, repairs, recovery, and return-to-service activities. Manage maintenance work orders and production-control activities. Maintain accurate maintenance and equipment-readiness records. Monitor equipment downtime, recurring failures, and parts requirements. Identify technical data, tooling, parts, and training requirements. Coordinate recovery of disabled equipment. Ensure maintenance support meets warehouse and transportation mission requirements. Supervise three subordinate maintenance functional or sub-team leads.
Basic Qualifications
High school diploma and 5+ years of relevant experience, including hands-on experience maintaining ground-support equipment, material-handling equipment, vehicles, heavy equipment, or comparable mechanical systems. Experience supervising maintenance personnel and prioritizing repair workloads. Knowledge of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and equipment-readiness processes. Ability to interpret technical manuals, maintenance procedures, and equipment documentation. Top Secret–SCI clearance required.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior military or DoD equipment-maintenance experience. Experience maintaining forklifts, loaders, generators, heavy equipment, or other MHE/GSE. Experience managing mixed fleets of commercial, tactical, and industrial equipment. Understanding of maintenance-production control and readiness reporting. ASE, OEM, diesel, heavy-equipment, MHE, GSE, or related technical certification. If you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
