About this role
The Company Dexcom Corporation (NASDAQ DXCM) is a pioneer and global leader in continuous glucose monitoring (CGM). Dexcom began as a small company with a big dream: To forever change how diabetes is managed. To unlock information and insights that drive better health outcomes. Here we are 25 years later, having pioneered an industry. And we're just getting started. We are broadening our vision beyond diabetes to empower people to take control of health. That means personalized, actionable insights aimed at solving important health challenges. To continue what we've started: Improving human health. We are driven by thousands of ambitious, passionate people worldwide who are willing to fight like warriors to earn the trust of our customers by listening, serving with integrity, thinking big, and being dependable. We've already changed millions of lives and we're ready to change millions more. Our future ambition is to become a leading consumer health technology company while continuing to develop solutions for serious health conditions. We'll get there by constantly reinventing unique biosensing-technology experiences. Though we've come a long way from our small company days, our dreams are bigger than ever. The opportunity to improve health on a global scale stands before us. Set up and manage Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, and Error Reporting for observability. Automate operational tasks using Python. Ensure compliance with security best practices using IAM, VPC Service Controls, and Cloud Armor. Review and contribute to application, infrastructure, and CI/CD codebases, leveraging technologies such as GitHub Actions, Docker, Cloud Run, and Cloud Functions to ensure deployment automation, observability, security, performance, and operational best practices are embedded throughout the software development lifecycle. Lead incident response and root cause analysis for production issues. Mentor junior DevOps engineers and contribute to DevOps best practices and documentation. What makes you successful: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering roles. Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and version control systems (e.g., Git). Demonstrate strong scripting and programming skills using Python, Bash, PowerShell, Terraform, and Git to develop automation tools, platform integrations, infrastructure-as-code solutions, and operational utilities that improve reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency. Demonstrate the ability to read and analyze application code (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and APIs) to identify potential security vulnerabilities, performance bottlenecks, misconfigurations, and operational risks, partnering with development teams to implement remediation and security best practices. Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Splunk). Strong understanding of
