The Opportunity Eligibility: Applicants must be Australian citizens and be eligible to obtain and maintain an active Australian Government Defence security clearance at the level required for the position. As a Hardware Engineering Graduate at Lockheed Martin, you will be applying your knowledge and experience using various technologies, tools and processes to develop effective approved solutions. You will participate in, and be exposed to, all stages of the engineering lifecycle, adopting a systems based approach to engineering. Research, design, document, prototype and investigate systems Coding and unit testing Design and develop components for installation Correct errors in existing maintained systems Provide input to the assessment of products Assist with preparation and analysis of test reports This opportunity is at Williamtown, NSW. What you'll bring You will have either recently completed or be completing your tertiary level hardware engineering qualification by January 2027. Qualifications in mechatronics, robotics, electrical, & electronic, disciplines would be valued. You will have a high learning aptitude and a drive to constantly update your knowledge in a dynamic environment. We look for graduates with outstanding communication skills who have the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across all levels. Must be proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice.
