The Manufacturing Engineer II supports the design, development, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety. This role works with design, production, and other cross-functional teams to support manufacturability, resolve manufacturing issues, and introduce new products and processes while meeting company, industry, and regulatory requirements.
What You Will Do
Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety. Collaborate with design and production teams to support the manufacturability of new and existing products. Create and maintain process documentation, including work instructions and manufacturing flow diagrams. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to minimize downtime and maintain quality standards. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process-related issues. Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and safety requirements. Support the introduction of new products and processes, including equipment selection, installation, and validation. Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends, improvement opportunities, and areas for process optimization. Ensure manufacturing processes comply with company policies, industry standards, and applicable regulatory requirements. Provide training and technical support to production personnel Position may include occasional travel to the United States, as required by business needs, and might require obtaining a visa . Maintain proficient communication in English to ensure effective and constant interaction with counterparts in the United States.
Qualifications
You Must Have: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, process engineering, a related engineering field, or technical roles in production or manufacturing will also be considered. 2+ years of experience with manufacturing processes such as machining, assembly, or soldering, including performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to address process issues effectively. Experience in product transfers and work transfers is required . Candidates with experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) will also be considered as part of the evaluation. Advanced English proficiency .
Qualifications
We Prefer: Experience in aerospace or a related industry. Experience with AS9100, ISO 9001, or equivalent quality standards. Experience supporting equipment selection , installation, and validation. Experience using ERP/MRP systems or data analysis tools. Six Sigma certification or formal Lean Manufacturing training.
