 POSITION OVERVIEW General Production Operator Starting Pay: $2643 -$29.97 per hour Tiered wages through first 3 years, up to $33.30 after 3 years 75-day probationary period Time and half pay for all hours worked over 8 hours Time and half pay for all hours worked on Saturdays Double time pay for all hours worked on Sundays Shift differential Additional $.35 per hour for hours worked on 2nd shift Additions $.41 per hour for hours worked on 3rd shift Production operators who work full time may make $75,000+ in a year, inclusive of overtime. Overtime availability depends upon seniority, shift, job qualifications and business needs. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES As part of our manufacturing team, you will: Support packaging and processing operations Participate in equipment startup, changeovers, and shutdowns Troubleshoot equipment issues and partner with Maintenance Calibrate systems to meet required specifications Perform quality and safety checks Clean and sanitize production equipment and work areas Participates in continuous improvement initiatives Assist in training new employees Assist other plant areas as assigned MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or GED 2 years of manufacturing or production experience Must possess the ability to understand and effectively communicate with co-workers, supervisors, and others in the workplace regarding work matters (our business is generally conducted in English) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, push, pull, and twist for extended periods Willingness to work in hot, cold, noisy, wet, or dusty conditions Ability to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platforms Ability to follow human and food safety, quality, and grooming standards Ability to wear such as protective clothing and equipment (Personal Protective Equipment -PPE) such as safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard/bump cap, hair/beard net, gloves, and face masks (when required) Ability to work around high-speed machinery
