Analyst - Operations Finance

This role will be based at our Carole Park operations site. Key duties of the Analyst – Operations Finance team include but are not limited to: Perform inventory valuation, obsolescence analysis and SAP Product Costing activities, including standard cost maintenance and Material Ledger processes. Ensure accurate, reliable and compliant inventory and product costing information. Maintain robust SOX and inventory controls, including transaction monitoring, reconciliations and investigations. Support internal and external audits by providing accurate analysis, documentation and financial information. Deliver accurate Month-End and Quarter-End activities, including journals, accruals, reclassifications and General Ledger reconciliations. Provide meaningful analysis and insights to support local and global business decision-making. Support forecasting and budgeting activities across operational costs, inventory and product costing. Build and maintain Cost Accounting and Product Costing capability to meet evolving business requirements. Contribute to processes, systems and controls improvements to enhance efficiency, data integrity and the quality of financial information. To be considered for this role candidates should possess: Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Business, and/or similar; Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing or product-based environment is highly desirable; Strong analytical and reporting skills, with advanced Excel capability.
