About this role
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate UI Engineer to join our Enterprise Frontend Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and visually stunning user interfaces for our enterprise-grade applications You will collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and other stakeholders to translate complex requirements and design wireframes into clean, robust, and maintainable code. The ideal candidate is an expert in modern frontend technologies, possesses a strong eye for detail, and is committed to delivering exceptional user experiences while adhering to strict performance, accessibility, and security standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Architecture & Development Feature Implementation: Design and build responsive, accessible, and high-performance web applications using modern frontend frameworks (primarily React and TypeScript). Component Library & Design Systems: Contribute to and leverage our enterprise design system to ensure visual consistency, reusability, and brand alignment across all applications. State Management & Data Flow: Implement efficient state management solutions and integrate with RESTful and GraphQL APIs. Micro-Frontends: Design and develop modular, decoupled frontend architectures (Micro-frontends) using Module Federation or similar patterns to support independent deployment. 2. Quality, Testing & Performance Code Quality: Write clean, well-documented, and testable code adhering to industry best practices and team standards. Participate in rigorous code reviews. Testing: Implement comprehensive testing strategies, including unit tests (Jest/React Testing Library), integration tests, and end-to-end tests (Cypress/Playwright). Performance Optimization: Monitor, profile, and optimize frontend performance 3. Collaboration & Agile Practices Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure technical feasibility of designs and maintain high fidelity from design to production. Agile Delivery: Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives) and contribute to continuous process improvement. Mentorship: Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, sharing knowledge of frontend best practices, design patterns, and emerging technologies. Technical Skills & Qualifications Required Technical Skills: Core Web Technologies: Deep expertise in semantic HTML5, CSS3 (including modern layouts like Flexbox and Grid), and modern JavaScript (ES6+). Frontend Frameworks: Strong, production-proven experience with React.js and its ecosystem. Type Safety: Strong proficiency in TypeScript for building robust, type-safe applications. Version Control & CI/CD: Advanced knowledge of Git and Git-based workflows (GitHub/Bitbucket). Experience with CI/CD pipelines Preferred Technical Skills: Micro-Frontend Architecture: Experience with Webpack Module Federation or single-spa. Containerization: Basic understanding of Docker and containerized deployments. Professional Competencies Problem Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex frontend performance and rendering issues. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. User-Centric Mindset: A strong empathy for the end-user and a commitment to delivering intuitive, frictionless user experiences. Continuous Learning: A proactive attitude toward learning new technologies, frameworks, and industry trends.
Education & Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Experience: UI Engineer level: 3+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on frontend engineering. Senior UI Engineer level: 5+ years of professional frontend
