Standard Job Description 
 Directs inventory sufficiency management with respect to mission requirements throughout the life cycle of supported systems. Coordinates subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Directs the asset position of customer inventories, especially under the conditions of performance based logistics (PBL) and total system performance responsibility (TSPR) contracts. Oversees the decisions for operating inventory to include suppliers, repair facilities, 3PLs and customer locations, including priority interpretation, inventory allocation and asset redistribution as necessary among sources of supply and military operating locations. Manages military service inquiries, requests for proposals and provisioning determinations. Understands and uses various inventory optimization models; forecasts and manages budget requirements; interfaces with company and DoD information management systems; ensures fidelity of asset identification. Manages the resolution of technical and support problems. Coordinates status reports and metrics relating to supplier performance and mission readiness. Basic Qualifications 
 • Five (5) years' experience in warehouse management, tool room operations, support equipment management and/or aviation logistics disciplines. • Supervisory/leadership experience in the aerospace, aviation or military industry. • Experienced in the use of Microsoft Office Suite. • Working knowledge of programs such as Aircraft Scheduling/Records Management, Configuration Control, Maintenance Information System, Tool and FOD Control, Time Accounting, Training, Safety, Security, Hazardous Waste Management, or Supply Chain Management.
