Responsibilities
Applies principles to diagnose and fix problems in code through sound and creative engineering. With guidance, creates and implements code at shipping quality for a product, service, or feature, reusing code as applicable. Completes software projects in a cooperative team environment. Documents and explains projects to team members to ensure long-term continuity. Improves technical solutions by seeking out and incorporating feedback, and learning and following established quality and security practices. Learns team specific technologies and related industry developments and continuously builds skills relevant to assigned work and proactively seeks new knowledge that will improve the ability to deliver software at quality that team requires. Learns new engineering methods, tools, and best practices, and incorporates them into work processes. Partners with appropriate stakeholders (e.g., mentor, manager) to understand user requirements for a feature and develops engineering plans to fulfill those requirements. Qualifications
Required Qualifications: Currently pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field with at least one semester/term remaining following the completion of the internship OR Currently pursuing Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field with at least one semester/term remaining following the completion of the internship. Other Requirements: Security Clearance Requirements: Candidates must be able to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
