A Day in the Life Senior Engineering Program Manager Careers That Change Lives The Interventional Cardiology Therapies (ICT) Operating Unit is seeking a high-impact Quality Core Team Member (QCTM) to join the Renal Denervation (RDN) team and help shape the future of this transformative therapy. This role will provide Quality leadership for the next-generation RDN platform, one of ICT's highest-priority innovation programs, working at the center of strategy, product development, and execution. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to influence critical business and technical decisions, partner across functions, and drive the delivery of innovative therapies that improve patient outcomes worldwide. This position is on-site 4 days per week at the Mounds View, MN campus as the Quality lead on a cross-functional new product development team within the Coronary & Renal Denervation (CRDN) operating unit. This role will require less than 10% travel to enhance collaboration and ensure successful completion of projects. Medtronic walks the walk, creating an inclusive culture where you can thrive.                     In general, the following responsibilities apply for the Senior Engineering Program Manager role. This includes, but is not limited to the following: Lead the Quality strategy for a high-priority new product development program, translating PDP milestones into an actionable plan that proactively manages timelines, dependencies, technical risks, and resource needs. Serve as the Quality voice on the Core Team, partnering across Systems, Software, Hardware, Mechanical Engineering, Clinical, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to shape strategies that advance quality, compliance, patient safety, and customer impact. Drive key Quality-owned technical deliverables that support product development, including Risk Management, Design Verification, and Design Transfer, while ensuring strong alignment across engineering, regulatory, and manufacturing partners. Use program metrics and risk indicators to monitor Quality performance, communicate progress, and drive timely mitigation plans with Quality and program leadership. Influence cross-functional execution by clearly communicating priorities, progress, risks, and key decisions to technical teams, Quality leaders, and senior stakeholders. Key Skills & Experience Product development and program delivery: Demonstrated ability to lead Quality planning and execution within large, complex PDP programs, translating technical milestones into clear priorities, integrated workstreams, risk-based decisions, and measurable outcomes. Capital equipment and systems expertise: Strong understanding of complex system-level product development, including the integration of software, hardware, mechanical design, and clinical or user needs in a regulated medical device environment. Cross-functional leadership: Ability to lead through influence across engineering, quality, regulatory, clinical, manufacturing, and supply chain partners, building alignment and driving decisions in a matrixed, global environment.
