Position Summary: The Trade Marketing Manager leads communications to trade partners to support execution of partner campaigns across OTAs and Retail networks. The role engages and supports the trade network via comprehensive and innovative B2B activity; assists trade partners to develop effective consumer campaigns. Responsible for supporting through-the-line execution of all trade marketing activity including a dynamic events calendar, co-op marketing, sales collateral, brochures, trade advertisements, b2b social channels and digital assets. The role will maintain a keen interest in the marketplace, actively tracking and reporting trends and identifying opportunities to activate the Royal Caribbean brand. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Brand Management – Understand key differentiators, the travel agency landscape and target markets to ensure all activities is aligned with brand strategy. B2B Communication – Engage with front line travel professionals to educate and inform on Royal Caribbean news and updates using a variety of B2B channels. B2B2C Marketing and Coop – Work with sales managers and trade partners to develop effective consumer marketing campaigns. Ensure accuracy and compliance with brand guidelines and commercial strategy. Budget Management - In partnership with the Director of Sales and Head of Sales Enablement support day-to-day management of annual trade marketing media and production budgets. Expos and Trade Shows – Support Sales team with appropriate material and tools for trade events and roadshows. Trade Events – Plan trade partner and industry events including from time to time attending as required. General – Works with internal business units and external partners on all activities to ensure alignment across activity. Leadership & People Management: Lead, mentor and develop the Trade Marketing team, creating a high-performance culture through coaching, performance management, capability development, and succession planning while ensuring alignment with business objectives. Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 3 years’ experience working within a B2B or B2B2C marketing environment. Tertiary qualification in marketing, communication, business or related discipline. Ability to manage and implement multi-channel campaigns.
