The Opportunity
We have an opportunity for an experienced workplace relations leader to join our Australian People and Culture Leadership Team as Head of Workplace Relations and Wellbeing. Reporting to the VP People and Culture, you will shape the workplace relations, industrial relations and wellbeing agenda for CCEP Australia. This role has broad influence across the Australian leadership team and plays a key part in how we manage workforce risk, support our people and enable business performance. This is a highly influential leadership role that combines strategic impact, commercial judgement and deep technical expertise. You will partner with senior leaders to navigate complex workforce challenges, manage industrial risk and shape a practical, people-centred agenda for wellbeing and workplace relations. You will also lead a specialist team across workplace relations, injury management and wellbeing, building capability and clear priorities to deliver strong outcomes for our people and our business.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and deliver CCEP Australia's Workplace Relations and Wellbeing strategy, ensuring alignment with business priorities and a positive employee experience. Provide strategic advice to senior leaders on complex employee relations, workplace relations and organisational risk matters. Build, coach and lead a high performing team of Workplace Relations and Wellbeing specialists, setting clear priorities, strengthening capability and fostering collaboration and continuous improvement. Lead a complex enterprise bargaining and industrial relations landscape, including the negotiation and renewal of multiple agreements and engagement with unions and employee representatives. Oversee industrial risk management and business continuity planning, helping the organisation navigate change and operational challenges. Drive the organisation's wellbeing strategy, including initiatives that support physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. Lead national injury management and workers' compensation programs, ensuring compliance and positive employee outcomes. Partner with Legal, Health & Safety and People & Culture teams to strengthen governance, policy frameworks and psychosocial risk management.
About You
You are a trusted advisor who combines strong workplace relations expertise with commercial acumen, sound judgement and an authentic leadership style. You will bring: Significant experience in a senior Workplace Relations or Employee Relations leadership role Deep knowledge of Australian employment legislation, the Fair Work Act and industrial relations frameworks Experience leading complex industrial negotiations, dispute resolution and organisational change initiatives A proven ability to influence and advise executives and senior leaders on sensitive people matters Strong stakeholder management, communication and relationship-building skills Proven experience leading, coaching and developing specialist teams, with the ability to set direction, build capability and create a clear, collaborative operating rhythm. Knowledge of wellbeing, mental health and workers' compensation practices Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Law or a related discipline. Postgraduate qualifications are highly regarded.
